Araea Minnow – Executive Director of Recruitment:
  • Time with NM: Joined Northwestern Mutual in 2019.
  • Prior Experience: Leads recruitment and the interview process for the Mid-Hudson District Office within the Tronco Network.
  • Passionate About: Focused on connecting talented individuals with life-changing career opportunities. Araea lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband Matt and their two children, Levi and Leia.
James Wong – Director of Operations & Development:
  • Time with NM: Joined Northwestern Mutual in 2020.
  • Prior Experience: Supports advisor training and development in the Poughkeepsie office and serves as Lead Financial Representative to Managing Director Kevin Caccomo.
  • Passionate About: Helping new advisors reach their full potential and guiding clients with integrity and purpose. James lives in Ulster County with his wife and three children.
William Brammer – Growth and Development Director:
  • Time with NM: Started as an intern with Northwestern Mutual in 2016.
  • Prior Experience: Financial Advisor with additional responsibilities supporting advisor development.
  • Passionate About: A lifelong Hudson Valley resident who builds financial plans and professional relationships based on trust, integrity, and a genuine care for his community.
Position Overview:
As a Wealth Consultant you will play a critical role in helping clients secure their financial futures through comprehensive insurance solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Client Assessment: Evaluate clients' financial needs and goals to recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Customized Solutions: Develop personalized insurance plans that align with clients' long-term financial strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering continuous support and advice as their needs evolve.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay current on insurance products and industry trends to provide clients with the best options available.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all recommendations and sales comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
